Chicknz started as a side project for my two kids. My sister's family runs on it now too. It's real software I use every day, not a pitch deck.

There's no pricing because there's no business yet, just me and a wall tablet. If that ever changes, the families already using it hear first.
Your data leaves with you
Export every chore, reward, routine, calendar event, and skill-tree node as CSV or JSON. No retention games. Delete the family when you're done.

Is it actually free?
Yes. It's a side project, not a business. Every feature, no card, no countdown. I built it for my own family and run it on a wall tablet at home.
Will it ever cost money?
Maybe, if it ever grows past a personal project. There's no plan and no date. If it changes, the families already using it hear first, with plenty of notice.
What about the hub tablet?
You bring the tablet, any cheap Android works ($40 Fire HD is plenty). See the hub for what runs on it.
Can I get my data out?
Anytime. Export every chore, reward, routine, and skill node as CSV or JSON, or delete the whole family. It's your data.
